Highlights from the rest of the tour

When I last blogged about the tour things weren't going quite as expected. Guess what......things didn't get that much better on the finding electricity front! I still had an amazing time so I'd like to share with you some highlights.

Day 4 - Cambridge

I think this was one of my favorite days of the tour. I had my trusty side kick Ross Woodside with me to do some filming and just generally have a laugh with.

Here are the Cambridge highlights:

1. I nearly knocked a man off his bike and he wasn't very pleased...

2. Ross unknowingly took the mick out of a handicapped person...

3. Sang down by the river and got papped by someone who though I was James Blunt

4. Got to meet Ed Byrne and give him a CD (Ross didn't know who he was and asked him for directions to a pub)

5. When we got to the pub Ross and I met a crazy guy called Steve who knew a lot about nothing. He also decided to rip the piss out of the hats we were wearing. ( Ross had a flat cap on so fair do's)

EVENTFUL DAY

DAY 5 - Norwich

I had a really good time in Norwich with my friends Kelly and Matt. Had some problems with finding a place to play in the afternoon but I got to do a live session on UEA's student radio. On that program we talked about how amazing my guitar smelt and Matt played the egg live on air with me! Good times.

We ended up in an Irish pub called Delany's with lots of people in fancy dress. Interesting...

Some of the Highlights later on in the tour include doing an interview on BBC Radio Sheffield with some presenter fella. I was a bit annoyed because he asked me to leave my guitar out side the studio!! I thought I was going to get to play something like I have done at all of the other radio stations I've visited! More fool him, old timer.

Leeds was a good laugh although i was majorly let down by Leeds Student Tlelevision! they were supposed to be following me around all day, I got an e-mail the night before saying they could only film for one hour and then on the day it self, literally an hour before i was due to meet them they completely canceled on me! I know they're only students but if that was any other type of t.v company, heads would be rolling!

In the evening I did a private show at the house of an editor for "Vibrations Magazine" They're a Leeds based music mag and they're great! I had an amazing time, the place was full and they made me feel very welcome so a big thank you to Steve Walsh for organising that for me.

have a look at the video from day 4 of the tour in Cambridge. Look out for the crazy swan at the end.

Thanks for reading.
